Sloppy Joes

Ingredients:

3 lbs. ground beef
TSB Lone Star Chili & Fajita Seasoning
Olive oil
1 large yellow onion (diced)
Red Bell pepper (diced)
Green Bell pepper (diced)
4-5 cloves of garlic (minced)
2 cans tomato paste
Soy sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Ketchup
Yellow mustard
Apple Cider vinegar
1 package of Brioche buns
1 jar of Dill pickle slices
1 package of American cheese
1 (4 oz.) bag of shredded Cheddar cheese
Chick Fil -A Sauce
Jalapenos (sliced)

Directions:

In a Dutch Oven or large pot, add a bit of Olive oil, garlic, onions, red and green peppers. Sauté these ingredients for about 10-15 minutes. Next, add in your ground beef (break into chunks) as well as TSB Lone Star C/F Seasoning and begin browning the ground beef.

As the beef/vegetable mixture is cooking, add in the Tomato paste, a few dashes of soy sauce, a few dashes of Worcestershire, and 2 tablespoons each of ketchup and yellow mustard. Then add 2 splashes of Apple Cider vinegar.

Continue to cook and stir as the mixture starts to thicken and look like a pot of Chili (about 30-40 minutes). Add in 2 handfuls of shredded Cheddar cheese to aid in thickening the Sloppy Joe mixture. You will want to keep tasting the mixture while cooking. Adding more ketchup, yellow mustard, dashes of Worcestershire sauce, and TSB Lone Star C/F really brings out the flavor in this dish.

To serve: Take a toasted Brioche bun and place two slices of American cheese on the bottom bun. Spoon on some Sloppy Joe mixture and top that with your choice of Dill pickles, jalapenos, Chick Fil-A sauce or mustard. Add a side of French Fries or your favorite potato chips, and Enjoy!
