Taco Pizza

Ingredients:

1.5 lbs. Ground Beef
1 Medium size Yellow Onion (diced)
Garlic (5 cloves diced)
1-2 cans of Rotel (diced tomatoes/green chilis)
2 cans of Green Chilis
2 cans of Refried Beans (with green chilis)
1 bunch of cilantro (diced)
1 can of Pizza Sauce
2 thin crust Pizza Shells
(2) 4 cup bags of Shredded Cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack etc.)
1 bag of Tortilla Chips
1 can Black Olives
TSB Lone Star Chili & Fajita Seasoning
1 small bottle of Taco Sauce
Sour Cream
1-2 Jalapenos (sliced)

Directions:

Heat your oven to 350 degrees.

Place Ground Beef, Onions, Garlic, Green Chilis, and TSB Lone Star Chili & Fajita Seasoning in a Dutch Oven or pot/pan and cook until meat is browned and the onion/garlic have cooked down. Add Rotel, Refried Beans and stir all ingredients until they create a nice smooth mixture as the beans heat up.

Using 2 pizza stones or pans, start building your pizzas as follows (crust, cheese, sauce, meat/bean mixture, crushed tortilla chips, cheese - see pictures). The cheese being added before the pizza sauce keeps the crust from getting soggy.

Bake each pizza for approximately 25-30 minutes (you may need to bake 1 pizza at a time depending on oven space) until the cheese is melted and the crust starts getting crispy. Remove the pizzas and add black olives, a bit more cheese, and return the pizzas back to the oven to finish melting the cheese. Bake for another 10-15 minutes each, the crust should be nice and crispy.

Top the pizza slices with your choice of crushed tortilla chips, cilantro, sliced jalapenos, sour cream, and taco sauce. Enjoy!
