Spicy Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients:

4-6 chicken thighs (boneless/skinless)
TSB Sizzlin’ Yardbird Seasoning
1 package of sandwich buns
1 package of American Cheese (white)
1 jar of honey
1 jar of dill pickles
Cooking Spray

Directions:

Place Chicken thighs in a plastic sealable bag or covered dish. Add Sizzlin’ Yardbird Seasoning to cover chicken thighs evenly on both sides. Place in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least a few hours. This will allow the seasoning to soak into the chicken and create a nice coating that will be ready to cook without using any breading.

Heat your oven to 375 degrees. Or, you can use an oven like the Emeril Lagasse French Door 360 at the same temperature and time. (see pictures)

Place marinated chicken thighs on a baking sheet that is covered with aluminum foil and sprayed with cooking spray (or just use cooking spray if using ELFD 360). Cook chicken thighs for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is firm, but not tough (give a poke with tongs to check), and the juices run clear.

Assemble your sandwiches. Take a sandwich bun and place some cheese slices on the bottom bun, (keeps bun from becoming soggy) add a chicken thigh on top. Drizzle with honey and top with dill pickles. Add a dash of hot sauce if you’d like your sandwich a little spicier. Serve with chips, fries, or your favorite sides. Enjoy!
