Double Cheeseburger Sliders

Ingredients:

2 lbs. ground beef (24 meatballs)
TSB Steakhouse Burger Seasoning
2 large yellow onions
1 package of slider rolls (12 per pack)
1 package of American cheese
Canola oil
Butter

Directions:

Roll ground beef in the palm of your hand to form 24 meatballs and season them with the Steakhouse Burger Seasoning. Let sit until ready to cook.

Slice onions and place into a pan with either butter or Canola oil. Season with Steakhouse Burger Seasoning and cook the onions down on medium/ high heat until they caramelize and get a nice golden brown in color. Remove from pan and set aside.

Continue cooking at a medium high temperature. Place as many meatballs into a pan as you can fit without overcrowding (cook in batches if needed). As soon as you place the meatballs in the pan, begin to smash them flat with a spatula or other kitchen utensil. Cook for a few minutes then flip each patty (a nice crust should form on each side). Smash each patty flat again and cook for another few minutes. Remove each patty and let them rest on a platter while you start to assemble each slider.

Take your package of slider rolls and slice them in half (you can find sliced slider rolls as well) and place them on a baking sheet that is lined with aluminum foil, and sprayed with some cooking spray.

Place some cheese on each roll, then add one burger patty, add more cheese and the second burger patty. Add caramelzed onions and a bit more cheese. Finish each slider by adding the top part of the roll. Brush each slider with some melted butter on top.

Place into a 300 degree oven. Let cook until the cheese melts and glues each slider together, and the slider rolls are slightly toasted (see pictures). Serve with a side of chips, french fries or anything that else you can think of.

Enjoy!
